Phillip and Jane Sheard welcome you to Park Bottom Bed & Breakfast which is situated in the unspoilt hamlet of Litton amidst the beautiful scenery of Littondale – ‘the secret Dale’, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales ‘National Park.
Litton is a peaceful quiet hamlet, with the excellent Queen’s Arms Inn which serves real ale in a traditional bar. The pace of life is relaxed, people are friendly and the setting could not be prettier. Here you may escape the crowds, lose track of time and enjoy the special charm of the Dales at their very best.
Park Bottom is a house built in traditional style, using the stone from the miner’s cottages originally on the site, and offers modem standards of comfort and warmth with central heating from our newly installed biomass boiler and double glazing throughout. There is ample private car parking and secure bike storage.
Guest bedrooms are all en-suite and all were fully refurbished in February 2015, with tea and coffee making facilities. Drying and ironing facilities are also available. All rooms have splendid views of the surrounding fells, and guests are welcome to sit and relax in the lounge or in the garden.
We offer a full cooked breakfast and a number of homemade alternatives to get you off to a good start. Evening meals may be obtained in the village at the Queen’s Arms Inn or further afield in Arncliffe, Kettlewell, Kilnsey and Grassington.
